The work we do matters!Hiring Agency:Correctional Services - Agency 46Location:York, NEHiring Rate:$34.897Job Posting:JR2026-00027674 Corrections Unit Case Manager - Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (Open)Applications No Longer Accepted On (If no date is displayed, job is posted as open until closed):07-17-2026Job Description:The Nebraska Correctional Center for Women is looking for a Corrections Unit Case Manager with strong interpersonal skills to lead a team of staff and work with our incarcerated population.Information about the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) can be found at: For Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, please contact Megan Jones at View email address on click.appcast.io supervision and guidance to Unit Caseworkers in the successful performance of unit management operations.Monitor incarcerated individuals behavior and maintain order within housing units, addressing issues as needed.Guide and counsel incarcerated individuals on rules, treatment plans, and rehabilitation programs, including crisis intervention and parole planning.Coordinate and document inmate background information and referrals for appropriate medical, mental health, educational, and vocational services.Facilitate non-clinical programming for assigned incarcerated population.Requirements / QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, behavioral sciences, human services or related field OR Associate’s degree in criminal justice, behavioral sciences, human services or related field plus two years of corrections experience; OR four years of corrections experience.Legal Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. No felony or domestic abuse related convictions.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supervising/leading teammatesExperience managing a caseloadAt least one year of experience in a correctional settingExperience as a guest instructor, facilitating programs or public speakingOther: Candidates will be required to successfully complete facilitator training and instruct non-clinical programming.
