Who you are:

• Approximately ~3-6+ years of tax experience with PE clients
• CPA required
• Big 4 or strong national public accounting background preferred
• Private equity, asset management, hedge fund or other partnership tax experience
• Strong understanding of Form 1065, K-1/K-3, partnership allocations, basis and tax estimates

Nice to have:

• Exposure to PTET and multistate partnership compliance
• International / foreign investor reporting experience is a plus
• Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on
• Strong communicator who raises issues early, asks questions and takes ownership
• Detail-oriented, responsive and able to operate effectively in a very lean team

Relevant technical exposure

Experience with some combination of:

• Forms 1065, 5471, 926, 8865 and 8621
• K-1 and K-3 review
• Partnership basis and allocation work
• Federal and state tax estimates / PTET
• W-8 documentation and foreign investor classifications
• FATCA, CRS and FBAR reporting
• Coordination with external tax advisors and fund administrators
