Leasing/Rental Agent for Real Estate Homes

Tide Property Management is looking for a Leasing Agent who loves talking to people and knows how to turn interest into signed leases.

This is a sales job — and it’s a field job.

We manage a scattered-site portfolio of homes throughout Summerville, Moncks Corner, and the surrounding area. You won’t be sitting in one apartment community waiting for prospects to walk through the door.

You’ll be driving between properties, meeting prospects, conducting showings, checking on vacant homes, and spending a lot of your day out in the market.

You’ll own rental leads from first inquiry through signed lease. That means picking up the phone, figuring out what someone actually wants, matching them with the right property, showing it, and following up until they make a decision.

We’re not looking for someone who just opens doors.

We want someone who picks up the phone, follows up when everyone else gives up, and cares whether the property gets leased.

You’ll Be Great at This If

• You genuinely like people.

• You’re comfortable calling someone five minutes after they submit a lead instead of sending an email and hoping they respond.

• You like being out in the field. Driving from Summerville to Moncks Corner for showings doesn’t bother you — that’s part of the job.

• You’re competitive. You know your numbers. You want to know how many leads came in, how many showings happened, and how many leases got signed.

• And you understand that the best salespeople don’t feel like salespeople. You listen, ask good questions, build trust quickly, and help people make good decisions.

• If a lead goes cold, you follow up.

• If someone no-shows, you call them.

• If a property isn’t leasing, you want to know why.

Compensation:

$65,000

Responsibilities:

• Own rental leads from first inquiry through signed lease

• Conduct frequent in-person showings throughout Summerville and Moncks Corner

• Respond quickly to prospects by phone, text, and email

• Build relationships and understand what each prospect is looking for

• Follow up consistently after every showing

• Visit vacant homes and provide feedback on condition, pricing, and presentation

• Help prospects through applications, approvals, and lease signing

• Keep the leasing pipeline organized and take ownership of leasing results

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Real Estate License
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A proven record of sales experience and success
• Familiar with leasing regulations

• Strong residential leasing or sales experience highly preferred

• Proven leasing performance is a major plus

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Comfortable spending significant time on the phone and in the field

• Highly organized, responsive, and persistent

• Comfortable working independently between multiple properties

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and willingness to drive frequently throughout Summerville, Moncks Corner, and surrounding areas are required
