We are looking for a Primary Care Physician to join our team full-time at CenterWell Primary Care in Chesapeake, VA . Work-Life Balance: You will benefit from PTO, minimal call responsibilities, and dedicated CME time. Main Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Diagnose and manage moderately to complex medical conditions. Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists. Participate in clinical quality improvement programs. Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. Contribute to strategic programs and innovations in care delivery. Exercise independent clinical judgment in patient management. Required Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice. Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine. 2 years' experience in value-based care or managing high-acuity geriatric patients. Commitment to improving patient experience and outcomes. Participation in Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with senior populations or in value-based care settings. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and digital documentation. Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs). Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators. Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage. Bilingual English/Spanish. Will speak, read and write in both languages without limitations or assistance. See Additional Information on testing. Work Environment Outpatient clinical setting. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to our Associate Medical Director. You will be onsite and in-person at the CenterWell Chesapeake clinic. Use your skills to make an impact Language Proficiency Testing: any associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $219,400 - $306,900 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
