Surgery Center Administrator

United Surgical Partners International, the country’s largest ASC platform is currently seeking a Surgery Center Administrator for Durango Outpatient Surgery Center. Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is located in Las Vegas, NV. Our facility is accredited by the Joint Commission. Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is a facility in which physicians have an ownership or investment interest. This facility has 5 ORs. Our state-of-the-art equipment allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Robotic Assisted Surgery, Bariatrics, Total Joint Replacement, Colon & Rectal Surgery, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, Gastroenterology, Podiatry, Direct Screen Colonoscopy, Spinal Surgery. The ideal candidate for this role will either have Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership experience with ASC exposure. Job Summary The Administrator is responsible for facility operations, financial performance, quality initiatives, and physician relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Administrator collaborates closely with facility leadership, medical staff, governing boards, and USPI’s Home Office to support consistent operations and sustainable performance. Key Responsibilities Lead daily facility operations, including administrative, clinical support, and business functions Serve as liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and USPI Home Office Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets Monitor financial performance and address operational risks Oversee staffing, employee performance management, and workforce planning Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination Manage vendor, service, and physician contractsSupport quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement Compensation Annual and Quarterly bonus potential. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Master’s degree preferred Experience The ideal candidate for this role will either have Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership experience with ASC exposure Minimum of three years of senior administrative or healthcare management experience Experience working closely with physicians and clinical leadership Experience with fully managing a budget and hitting/exceeding financial goals in a healthcare leadership position Skills & Requirements Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to manage priorities across multiple operational areas Comfort working in both office and clinical environments Mobility to move throughout the facility as needed The employment practices of USPI and its companies comply with all applicable laws and regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr United Surgical Partners International
