Cylinder Control Specialist

Cylinder Control Specialist Location: Rancho Cordova, CA (Regional Office) Compensation: $25.00–$27.00 per hour, Monday‑Friday, no weekend work. Airgas provides PPE and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities Coordinate and steward the region’s cylinder inventory to ensure accuracy of customer records and branch on‑hand balances. Conduct customer audits, physical counts at branch locations, and review cylinder records for negative or unusual balances. Collaborate with sales and branch operations to review cylinder adjustments to customer accounts. Analyze dock stock trends, assess major changes, and assist local sales managers with large‑scale audits. Review uneven transactions and create negative balances daily; conduct periodic audits at branch or plant locations for SOP compliance. Audit distributor/dealer balances and coordinate routine audits to maintain accurate records. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED (a bachelor’s degree is welcomed). Branch or plant‑related experience is a valuable asset. Preferred: G‑Suite experience; SAP knowledge; strong detail orientation and multi‑tasking; maturity for decision making and accountability; collaborative, self‑directed and autonomous; excellent organizational, people and communication skills; ability to integrate new technologies into operations.
