Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry for a Med Surg unit requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Job Details

• Med Surg 3 unit within a hospital setting,
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week),
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications,
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift,
• Uses Epic for charting,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required, no pending license accepted,
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start,
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit,
• ASN required, BSN preferred,
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty being submitted for required,
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care,
• Provides health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to support patient recovery,
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines,
• Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed,
• Promotes organizational mission, vision, and values, adhering to service behavior standards,
• Background check and drug screening required, with results typically taking at least 2 weeks,
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
