Construction Supervisor

Construction Supervisor
Location: Amarillo, Texas Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $55.00 - $58.50 per hour Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 50.0 hours per week Per Diem: $178/day
Responsibilities
- Provide daily on-site supervision during project overhauls.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and plant personnel.
- Monitor construction activities including welding, scaffolding, painting, and equipment installation.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, especially during critical lifts.
- Compile weekly reports and track project documentation (e.g., weld x-ray reports).
- Travel to multiple sites including Amarillo, Lubbock, Earth (TX), and Hobbs (NM).
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in power generation or heavy industry.
- Mechanical or civil background preferred; familiarity with power plant components (boilers, turbines, condensers).
- Experience with critical lifts and vendor oversight.
- Ability to travel and work on-site 5–6 days per week.
