Job Overview Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Municipal Land Use Associate in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of experience in land use and zoning, with a focus on public agency representation. This role involves navigating complex legal and regulatory issues to provide practical, client-focused advice. Duties Conduct land use due diligence and permitting assessments. Develop strategies to achieve client developer goals. Assist clients throughout the permitting process. Provide advice on CEQA, NEPA, and other environmental laws. Draft and analyze legal documents with precision. Regularly update clients on the progress of their matters. Requirements 4-6 years of relevant land use and zoning experience. Experience with public agency representation. Strong writing, research, and analytical skills. Admission to the State Bar of California. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications State Bar of California admission. Skills Excellent writing and research abilities. Strong analytical and drafting skills. Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset.
