The operating room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves providing perioperative nursing care within a busy trauma, orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac surgical environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This is an immediate start position with an expected duration through June 1, 2026.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR)
• Location: Boston, MA
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts; open to 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts for a total of 36 to 40 hours per week discuss with manager in interview.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in trauma, orthopedic, neuro, cardiac, and ex lap cases; valid license, willing to wait if necessary.
• Preferred Qualifications: OR experience with scrubbing and circulating skills in trauma, neuro, ortho, and cardiac cases.
• Schedule: Self-scheduling within reasonable limits; block scheduling not guaranteed.
• Additional Information: Unit notes specify ASAP start, must end by June 1, 2026; no floating required; charge nurse manages shifts; EMR system is EPIC; perioperative call responsibilities mirror those of permanent staff, including on-call shifts starting after the regular shift ends with a 45-minute response time.
• Special Requirements: Must have a valid license to submit application.
