Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic surgical team. This role requires advanced nursing skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with surgical teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.Assist in the delivery of high-quality care within the Operating Room.Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.Circulate in various types of surgical procedures, with scrubbing preferred.Float between different surgical specialties as needed, excluding Cardiovascular and Transplant.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with 2 years of Level I Trauma experience preferred.Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required; no pending licenses accepted.BLS certification required.Experience in circulating and scrubbing preferred.Must be well-rounded in various surgical areas including General, Plastic, GYN, ENT, Neuro, Ortho, GU, and Colorectal Robotics.Work ScheduleThis position requires flexibility with scheduling. Call shifts and holiday coverage are expected, and candidates must be prepared to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.Additional InformationParking at the facility is complimentary, and scrubs are provided. The unit handles an average daily census of 70-80 patients with 21 operating rooms available.
