Associate Director, Clinical Scientist, Genetics Medicine

Regeneron seeks an Associate Director, Clinical Scientist to lead clinical study design, execution, and scientific interpretation across early and late phase development in rare disease programs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance clinical candidates while ensuring data integrity and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support clinical science strategy for programs as lead Clinical Scientist or delegate to Therapeutic Area Lead
• Design and deliver clinical studies with Medical Directors grounded in disease biology and current literature
• Develop Expanded Synopses and author or review clinical sections of protocols, amendments, and study reports
• Conduct clinical data review and safety monitoring to protect patient safety and ensure data integrity
• Present at program meetings, advisory boards, steering committees, and investigator meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of pharmaceutical clinical drug development experience
• Proficient knowledge of drug development process, ICH/GCP guidelines, and study design methodology
• Demonstrated leadership conducting global clinical trials and executing clinical programs
• Strong cross-functional leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in matrix environments
• Solid medical writing skills
• Advanced degree in life science or healthcare preferred (PhD, MD, PharmD, or MSc)
• Experience with clinical trial process improvements and early to late phase development preferred

Compensation: $176,100–$287,300 annually
