As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) , you'll work in a supportive environment that allows you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Our structured scheduling provides time for individualized treatment, documentation, and collaboration, so you can concentrate on making a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families you serve. Whether you prefer clinic-based care, home health, or a combination of both , MedCare Pediatric offers the flexibility, resources, and professional support to help you succeed. Occupational Therapist Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve: Fine motor and gross motor skills Sensory processing Coordination and balance Strength and range of motion Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Functional independence Educate and train parents and caregivers on home programs and therapeutic strategies. Collaborate with Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, family-centered care. Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when applicable. Complete timely documentation while maintaining compliance with state and company standards. Build strong, lasting relationships with patients and families through compassionate, one-on-one care. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Current Texas Occupational Therapist license (or eligible to obtain before start date). Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience preferred. One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
