Responsibilities Meets or exceeds weekly and monthly qualified lead goals. Helps local market achieve monthly sales goals; works with direct sales teams in lead development and public‑facing presentations (advertised or non‑advertised). Builds, cultivates and maintains relationships with key senior and community influencers that lead to lead‑generating events/activities and increase name awareness for Alignment and its products. Sets up and attends monthly events and activities through in‑person visits, telephone contact and email; sources, plans and executes activities such as health fairs, presentations and seminars at senior centers, food banks, churches, senior living facilities and various community organizations. Distributes approved marketing and event materials. Works with Corporate Marketing and Compliance Departments to approve, develop and produce advertising materials and invites for events. Locates, plans, sets up, attends and presents at quarterly new member orientations and year‑round education events (as needed in a non‑virtual format) in the local community. Educates the community on Alignment and its benefits, services and contracted providers and medical groups/IPAs available to prospects. Promotes and increases name awareness and brand identity for Alignment and its products. Provides a monthly calendar of planned activities and ensures all scheduled events are filed. Maintains a weekly summary of activity and submits a report on a weekly basis. Performs special projects as assigned to help drive leads for the company. Conducts and leads advertised sales meetings in the territory. Calls on local doctor offices to educate on Alignment products and distributes flyers to generate referrals. Qualifications Experience Minimum two (2) years related experience, including two years working with Medicaid and Medicare Managed Care Plans and two years of customer service experience. Preferred: 5+ years of experience in healthcare, 2 years of community grass‑roots marketing experience. Education Required: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree or four years additional experience in lieu of education. Preferred: MBA. Required Skills and Abilities Professional, positive communication skills with diverse audiences. Leadership, teaching and collaboration abilities. Solid presentation skills and ability to address diverse audiences appropriately and effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to perform mathematical calculations and simple statistical analysis. Advanced reasoning and problem‑solving skills, including prioritization of multiple tasks. Organizational and time‑management skills to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to comprehend and analyze statistical reports. Bi‑lingual preferred. Licensure and Transportation Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required. Preferred: Life Agent Licensure. 80% or more travel by car routinely required (in assigned market). Travel by plane required as needed. Extended working hours as needed; reliable transportation required. Fully vaccinated. Remote work possible on approval. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger or handle objects, and speak or hear. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to lift or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
