Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will provide direct care and support to residents while working alongside nurses and facility staff.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Taking and recording vital signs as directed
• Assisting with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Supporting residents with meals and hydration
• Observing residents and reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful resident environment
• Following facility care plans, policies, infection-control procedures, and safety standards
• Providing compassionate and professional care to residents
• Completing required documentation accurately and on time

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Active and valid Minnesota CNA certification
• Minimum of 6 months of CNA experience
• Previous experience in an assisted living, nursing home, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting
• Ability to pass required background screening
• Reliable transportation to scheduled shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Dependable attendance and ability to arrive on time for accepted shifts
