As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Riverside, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate $18.52 / Hour Job Schedule Thursday 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM How This Role Works Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and note security‑related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access in line with site policies, and report policy violations, hazards, and maintenance‑related issues to the appropriate contacts. Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining logs of patrols and incidents, and following Allied Universal standards along with location‑specific instructions. Minimum Requirements A current guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
