Free Meals Free Parking Job Overview Greeting and escorting guests to tables in the restaurant, maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction. Essential Job Functions Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer a choice of seating, then escort them to their table and present menu. Read, maintain and make daily entries in the logbook to coordinate communication between shifts and management. Maintain proper set-up on dining room. Receive records and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to lift at least 30 lbs. Performance Standards Customer Satisfaction Our customers are what we are about.
