Department: Camp Swoneky - Oregonia, OH

Reports To: Camp Facilities Manager

Status: Non Exempt Part Time Temporary

Function: To feed and care for animals on weekends, holidays and staff vacations as requested.

Responsibilities

Duties:

• Feed and care animals on weekends and holidays as well as staff vacation days as requested.
• Communicate with Facilities Manager of any issues or emergencies as it relates to animals.
• Perform work in accordance with sound safety practices.
• Perform routine safety inspections.
• Represent The Salvation Army in a manner that brings glory to God.
• Assist in every way requested to carry out the spiritual and total mission of The Southwest Ohio & Northeast
• All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Desire to work a hands-on job with a variety of animals
• Ability to do physical labor, lifting occasionally up to 50 pounds
