Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role is crucial in performing a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. The work environment requires flexibility with shifts and locations, including float requirements and on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Support other imaging technologists as needed
• Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and resolve image processing issues
• Participate in ongoing education in safety and technical advances
• Adhere to expected imaging competencies and organizational values
• Promote staff growth and development
• Ensure patient confidentiality and adapt care to meet developmental needs
• Maintain compliance with policies and standards of care
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Basic computer experience required
• Primary modality certification such as Radiography (R) by ARRT, Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB, or CT by ARRT or NMTCB
• State Licensure in New Mexico: CT or FUS by MIRTP NMED
• BLS certification via AHA required
