About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Technology to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and technological advancement. The successful candidate will be a deeply technical and commercially minded leader, responsible for shaping and scaling the technology that underpins the business. This includes building and leading a multidisciplinary technology team, overseeing the complete technology environment, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable solutions that drive measurable business results. The role demands a hands-on approach, with the VP expected to stay close to the technical details, work alongside engineers on complex problems, and make strategic decisions that align with the company's ambition for industry technology leadership. Applicants for the Vice President of Technology position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' progressive technical experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern software engineering, AWS, APIs, databases, CI/CD, testing, observability, security, and enterprise applications. Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce, or comparable ERP and CRM platforms, is valuable. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in commercial judgment, value engineering, and disciplined delivery, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience is necessary, and the ability to lead a team and deliver business-critical systems is paramount.
