Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each procedure with compassion and professionalism
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exceptional diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain advanced imaging equipment, swiftly reporting any issues
• Accurately document procedures within the electronic medical record system
• Keep updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred
