J&J Contractors I LLC is a NARI award-winning, family-owned interior and exterior remodeling company specializing in high-quality home transformations. We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our Design Team and lead clients through the design and selections process from concept through construction.
This is a client-facing role that works closely with Sales, Drafting, and Project Management teams to develop practical and buildable design solutions while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with clients to develop design concepts and project selections
- Guide clients through the design and selections process from concept through construction
- Visit job sites to evaluate existing conditions and project requirements
- Assist Sales and Drafting teams during project development
- Coordinate client selection appointments with vendors and suppliers
- Assist clients at vendor showrooms and supplier locations with material selections
- Develop drawings, layouts, and finish plans for client approval
- Create material finish boards and selection packages
- Work with vendors to obtain pricing, specifications, and product information
- Manage and document selections using BuilderTrend
- Ensure projects stay within design timelines and budget guidelines
- Prepare and manage change orders related to design selections
- Coordinate ordering of materials and selection items
- Communicate design updates and revisions to Project Managers
- Make site visits to verify material deliveries and installation details
- Maintain organized project documentation
- Participate in weekly Design Team meetings

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 3+ years of residential remodeling design experience
- Proven client-facing design experience
- Portfolio of residential design work
- Proficiency with design software such as 2020, SketchUp, Chief Architect or similar programs
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and documentation skills
- Availability Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-Time , On-site)
- Valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
