Family Law Paralegal

SRS Family Law is seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Family Law Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled legal professional who can confidently manage a busy caseload while providing thoughtful support to attorneys and clients navigating difficult family transitions. Responsibilities Draft pleadings, declarations, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and other legal documents Prepare financial declarations, child-support worksheets, parenting plans, and proposed orders Assist with all stages of family law matters, including divorce, legal separation, custody, parenting plans, child support, and post-judgment proceedings Maintain case calendars, deadlines, hearing dates, and attorney task lists Organize and review financial records, discovery materials, exhibits, and trial notebooks Coordinate court filings, service of process, depositions, mediations, evaluations, and hearings Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and outside professionals Provide attorneys with case summaries, timelines, and organized materials for hearings and trial Accurately record time and maintain complete, current client files Protect client confidentiality and comply with all applicable professional and ethical obligations Qualifications At least two years of family law paralegal experience preferred Working knowledge of family law procedures and court filing requirements Strong legal drafting, proofreading, organization, and deadline-management skills Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and limited supervision Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential matters Clear, respectful written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management software Paralegal certificate, degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred Equal Opportunity Statement SRS Family Law is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected status under applicable law.
