Electrophysiology Lab Tech

This position involves working as an Electrophysiology Lab Tech. Locals are allowed if they live a minimum of 50 miles from the facility. Workers will be scheduled for a 4x10 schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There are rotating late shifts, but no weekends or call requirements. All staff must be willing to stay late if a case extends into the evening. Charting is performed in Epic, and all requests for time off must be submitted. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. Employees must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract. First-time travelers are accepted, and locals may be considered if they live within specified limits. Active state licenses are required, and travelers can begin working with an emergency authorization while their permanent license is processing. Candidates must have experience with Electrophysiology mapping, sterile technique, EKG lead placement, and dysrhythmia recognition. Understanding of isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management is necessary. Staff must have experience with Fluoroscopy, Siemens, Ultrasound, Phillips, Carto Ensite, and Cardiolab. The department is recognized for cardiac excellence and offers comprehensive care for complex heart conditions. Travelers are required to work at least one holiday during their assignment. Compliance documentation must be submitted before starting the role. Previous employees must be gone for a minimum of one year before returning.
