ABOUT THE ROLELocation: Miami Design District storeStatus: Full TimeCompensation: $22.00-$24.00/hr + Commission(s)Position Summary:The Kith Operations Lead is the right hand to the Operations Manager. Supervises merchandise handling process. Supervises and provides training for the daily activities of all stock associates in partnership with the Operations Manager. Maintains an organized stockroom. Oversees replenishment process and provides leadership team with feedback regarding staff performance and inventory need to know. Manages shipping and receiving of in store merchandise and communicates with Warehouse and HQ teams. Point person for back-of-house matters when Operations Manager is unavailable.RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary Responsibilities:Ensures execution of all shipment receiving and processing procedures.Ensures adept product is neatly organized and placed in the stock room.Performs audit and transfers of damaged and defective merchandise, complete re-tickets, and phone orders.Tracks productivity and ensures that the team is meeting the standards and efficiency set by upper management.Ensures all delivery information is recorded and accurately reported.Communicates daily goals and priorities to support associates, redirects activities as necessary to achieve results.Manages shipment supplies and fixtures and communicates needs to the leadership team.Ensures the stockroom is neat, clean, and organized.Influences employees to support an operationally efficient and effective process driven environment.Assist store management team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard retail operations.Special Projects/Tasks:Participates and assists in Physical Inventories as required by the business.Assist Merchandising team during visual initiatives, as needed.REQUIREMENTSAvailability:Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.Experience:6+ months in a customer facing role.1+ year in a retail environment.1+ year in an apparel operations role.Skills/Abilities:Thorough communication with customers, peers, and Direct-Report(s)Efficient time management skills.Effective multi-taskerAbility to manage/oversee multiple projects at onceAbility to lift and move 25lbs.Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools.Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.WHO YOU AREProfessional Characteristics:Detail-OrientedSelf-StarterOrganizedTeam PlayerPersonal Characteristics:SupportiveSolution-drivenNatural LeaderWHO WE AREEstablished in 2011 in New York City, Kith is a lifestyle brand and specialty retailer that offers seasonal collections of men’s, women’s and children’s apparel, accessories and footwear through a distinct lens of personal storytelling.
