Registered Nurse (RN), PACU - Float Bonus: $15,000 two-year commitment Varied Hours | 12 hours | Full Time Trained in all areas from pre-op and recovery, main area of work will be recovery. Job Summary & Essential Functions * Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. * Meets the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families. * Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Essential Functions Additional Information * Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. * Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, * Complete Medical Record. * Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present; may involve contact with patients, blood, body fluids, or specimens. * Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.
