Duties & Responsibilities: Position Overview The Honors College at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting applicants for teaching adjunct faculty positions fortopics courses. Position duties include: Facilitate the course objectives. Meet all designated course instruction guidelines. Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based on instructions/rubric provided. Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours. Submit final grades according to College/Department policy. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environmentof respect, professionalism, and civility with a population offaculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds andexperiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member atVCU. A master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours of courseworkin a relevant discipline specific to the course topicproposed.
