Adjunct Faculty, A.D.N. Nursing - FA26 College of DuPage is looking to recruit adjunct faculty to teach American Diploma Nursing courses. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching in a multicultural environment and succeeding students with diverse learning abilities. Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that may include teaching assignments during days, evenings, and weekends. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats. Student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction. Required Qualifications Education Minimum of a Master’s degree in the content area, or a Master’s degree plus 18 semester hours of graduate credit in the discipline of instruction required. Experience Minimum of two years of full time work as a registered nurse is required. Experience teaching in a clinical setting is preferred. Licenses and Certifications Must be a licensed registered nurse in Illinois. Additional Requirements Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required. Benefits Paid by stipends for course assignments.
