Sit-down Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Schedule: Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 4:30 PM

Location: Client Site

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to pull, stock, and move materials within warehouse racking systems.
• Use RF scanners to accurately pull orders and adhere to established inventory protocols.
• Load and unload tractor trailers, with a preference for experience in flatbed loading/unloading and strapping.
• Manually stack materials onto pallets and consistently handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, contributing to team objectives immediately.

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience operating a sit-down forklift (mandatory).
• Proven track record in order pulling and proficiency with RF scanners.
• Experience in loading and unloading tractor trailers (required).
• Familiarity with flatbed trailer loading/unloading and strapping techniques is preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Quick learner with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
