Maintenance Technician

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at apartment communities in Dartmouth, MA. Responsibilities Electrical maintenance Plumbing maintenance HVAC maintenance Appliance repair Locks & keys Basic carpentry Painting and drywall repair Janitorial, grounds and snow removal Cleaning and maintaining a high level of cleanliness in buildings common areas and assigned areas Maintain exterior grounds according to company standards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance experience Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal Solid computer skills Excellent customer service skills Self‑starter, initiative On‑call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues timely Reliable vehicle required Compensation and Benefits Peabody Properties offers $25/hr to $26/hr along with a benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), STD, life insurance, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, employee referral bonuses, and flex spending.
