We're looking for an experienced Field Welder to support commercial and industrial construction projects involving structural steel and miscellaneous metals.ResponsibilitiesPerform SMAW (stick) welding using 7018 rod.Install structural steel, bar joists, and metal decking.Install handrails, guardrails, stairs, mezzanines, and other miscellaneous metals.Assist with rigging, signaling, and steel erection activities.Operate aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and other jobsite equipment.Read blueprints and use common ironworker tools.QualificationsExperience with structural steel welding and installation.Proficient in SMAW; FCAW experience preferred.Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.D1.1 structural welding experience preferred.Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights.Reliable transportation.Why Join Us?Family-owned company with a team-first culture.Paid PTO, holidays, and sick time.Company-paid certifications and training.Steady work, growth opportunities, and long-term stability.Strong commitment to safety.ScheduleMonday-Friday | 6:00/6:30 AM - 3:00 PMCommercial and industrial construction projects throughout the local area.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ramsey, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
