Materials Handler II

Job Description

The Material Handler II assists the production process by ensuring that materials are delivered to the assembly line in an organized fashion. They assist with receiving orders and contribute to maintaining raw goods inventory counts and are responsible for supporting the logistics in coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pull materials and supplies for production orders, perform advanced kitting assignments to meet production schedules
• Receive, store, issue, package, label and log material inventory
• Supply production area with WIP and raw materials
• Receive all incoming material deliveries and inputs location of material into inventory system, manage the inventory databases
• Receive and verify materials coming into the Material Center from Receiving Inspection and Shipping Dock for accuracy
• Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts on a regular, on-going basis to ensure inventory accuracy
• Support stockroom materials request and vouchers by transfer or adjust In and Out required parts from inventory, packaging, tagging, labelling and issuing to internal customers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in area of responsibility
