Vice President of Sales- Contemporary Knitwear

Title: Vice President of Sales-Women's Contemporary Knitwear Locations- New York, NY- A contemporary women’s knitwear brand is looking for a Vice President of Sales to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have experience working with department stores, TJX, off-price retailers, and club channels. Oversee merchandising strategies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while engaging with upper management. This is an exceptional opportunity to part of a thriving environment. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for growing and maintaining both new and existing accounts Experience with off price accounts including TJX, and all tiers of distribution. Analyze brand positioning, target new business for additional opportunities. Present the current collection to Buyers, Upper Management and Product Development team Work closely with cross functional team to develop and execute market strategies for each season Coordinate with design on current sales trends and customer needs. Develop and implement sales strategies achieving financial plans Partner with retailers and execute key brand strategy and initiatives Collaborate with merchandising team creating product assortment plans, and line plans adhering to a calendar. Skills 8 Plus years selling, merchandising, and building a licensed brand Experience with selling Knitwear Strong financial acumen analytic skills and knowledge of retail math. Proven track record of sales in a leadership role preferably in dresses.
