As a software developer focusing on autonomous large mining trucks, you’ll collaborate with team members to develop new autonomous truck models and features that provide critical value to our customers. What you will do: The Command for Hauling Developers will participate in various aspects of the development process including design, documentation, coding, product quality, and validationDevelop production quality C++ software Support requirements generation and architecture decisions and tradeoffsSupport functional safety software design and validation processCollaborate with team members to execute on goalsWhat you will have: Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Ability to execute projects and optimize development strategies based on a large repository of dataSoftware Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace. Strong understanding of software engineering principles. Programming: Knowledge of relevant programming languages and tools; ability to test, write, design, debug, troubleshoot and maintain source codes and computer programs.Top candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or PhD in an accredited Robotics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degreeSkilled at programming in C++Familiarization with core robotics principlesStrong foundation in mathematics and engineering fundamentalsAdditional Details:This position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Mossville, IL office.Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.Visa sponsorship is NOT available with this position.#LISummary Pay Range:$89,210.00 - $144,960.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
