Position Summary This position is committed to providing world‑class service for all Ford Idaho Center events. The Overnight Security position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all events. Special security assignments may be available during non‑event days and nights. The security team provides direct service to guests and must exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. Benefits for part‑time roles 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. About the Venue The position is based at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho. The Ford Idaho Center features a variety of flexible spaces to host events of all types and sizes, including an arena, sports center, and amphitheater. It is well suited for social and entertainment events, rodeos, horse shows, conventions, meetings, tradeshows, sporting events, and many more. Responsibilities Secure the building by patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance cameras, and inspecting equipment and access points. Prevent losses and damages by reporting irregularities in cooler temperatures and HVAC equipment. Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.). Perform all event and non‑event security duties as assigned. Conduct building safety inspections at appropriate times through the shift, normally including post‑event safety checks. Protect arena, amphitheater, and horse park equipment, materials, and structures throughout the schedule. Provide regular security functions within the venue and related areas before, during, and after all events. Maintain a clean, neat appearance with a complete FIC security uniform. Record, log, and return all lost and found items according to established procedures. Perform horse stall checks and other assignments related to horse park events. Qualifications Prior security experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work overnight hours as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends, and select holidays. Strong attention to detail. Must have or be able to earn valid CPR certification. Positive, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
