Primary duties include independent inspections, measurement, documentation, and containment activities to help ensure products and processes meet defined quality standards.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Perform quality inspections and verification activities for incoming, in-process, and completed products.Verify product conformity to applicable specifications, drawings, procedures, and customer requirements.Review and ensure customer-specific repair requirements are met.Create customer required reports such as disassembly, clean, and inspect (DCI), certificates of compliance (COC), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Support the nonconformance and corrective action process through identification, documentation, tracking, and follow-up activities.Support the control and maintenance of calibrated inspection, test, and measuring equipment.Maintain quality records and documentation in accordance with company requirementsAssist the Quality Manager with warranty evaluations, audits, PFMEAs, Control Plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and other quality-related activities.Support implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and associated quality processes.Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving product quality, process effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.Communicate quality concerns and assist with resolution of quality-related issues.Maintain required qualifications, certifications, and training necessary to perform assigned duties.Operate company equipment (i.e.: Forklift, Crane, hand tools etc.) in a safe and efficient manner in the performance of all duties as required.Comply with all company policies / procedures and perform all job functions in an ethical manner.Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly work area free of hazards.Complete all required safety training.Performs all applicable duties in accordance with our Quality Management System (QMS), as requiredPerform other skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by supervisor.Experience/Skills:Be available for and successfully complete all required trainingMust be willing work evenings and/or weekends, if requiredBe able to operate motor vehicles in compliance with all state and federal requirements, if travel requiredPossess valid identificationTravel between Texas and Louisiana locations, if requiredAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Ability to troubleshoot and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft office products and Adobe.Good communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to read, write and follow work instructionsAbility to interface with co-workers and customersAbility to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlinesTeam player attitude with the ability to work with minimal supervisionAdditional Job DetailsEducation:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent technical training or quality related certificate preferred0 - 1 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experiencePhysical and Other Requirements:Must pass all required pre-employment screenings – Background, Physical & Drug screenCompliance with all drug and alcohol policies established by the company and any customer-sponsored programs.
