We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Sum ma Rehab Hospital in Akron, Ohio (a partnership with Sum ma Health) is a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation facility dedicated to helping patients overcome disabling injuries and illnesses. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in HR Management role required.
• HR Certification preferred.
• OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

The Director of Human Resources is the primary individual responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources function at the hospital. Uses his or her expertise and training in Human Resources functions to put in place and manage the implementation of all necessary Human Resources policies and protocols necessary for successful operation of the hospital. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
