Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in peritoneal dialysis to join our Renal Medicine unit. This role involves providing quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Administer peritoneal dialysis treatments and monitor patients' responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding dialysis processes.
• Utilize appropriate medical equipment and technology effectively.
• Maintain accurate patient records through the Cerner EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in peritoneal dialysis is mandatory.
• Certification as a peritoneal dialysis nurse is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Cerner EMR system is a plus.
