Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, including 20+ monthly reconciliations
• Manage fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and payroll liabilities
• Reconcile operating accounts and high-volume check activity
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting schedules
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform account reconciliations

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and general ledger accounting
• Experience in nonprofit environments preferred
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Yardi experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, multi-entity accounting environment
