Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelors or associate degree in civil engineering from an accredited college/university preferred Key Responsibilities Contributes and support the engineering team in master planning, engineering design, and research for specific task on projects Assist engineers and project managers in the analysis of proposed and current projects Prepare civil design drawings under the direction of senior engineering staff Prepare civil plan sheets sets for construction drawings with emphasis of proper plan presentation Prepare preliminary plats, site plans, SWPP plans, grading/drainage plans, water/sewer plans, profiles (road/water/sewer/drainage), and construction details Involvement in companywide strategic initiatives and committees Desired Skills Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred Experience with drafting using AutoCAD Basic knowledge of necessary permitting processes for projects across multiple jurisdictions Ability to manage multiple project tasks Efficiently prepare CAD Base Sheet Drawings from drawing files provided by surveyor Efficiently prepare civil plan sheets sets for construction drawings with emphasis of proper plan presentation Ability to prepare Preliminary Plats, Site plans, SWPPP plans, Grading/Drainage plans, Water/Sewer Plans, Profiles (road/water/sewer/drainage), and construction details Other Skills/Abilities Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels Ability to be both creative and analytical Positive, solution-oriented attitude Detail-oriented and accurate Ability to work in a team environment Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Engineering and Design Industries Civil Engineering, Engineering Services, and Design Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Career Collective by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Vision insurance Medical insurance 401(k) Get notified about new Civil Engineer jobs in Midvale, UT .
