Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated care for adults and adolescents over 15 years of age, requiring critical care expertise.


• Administer and titrate complex IV drips, including vasopressors and antiarrhythmics.


• Monitor patients using advanced telemetry, require ability to interpret and respond to various monitors.


• Participate in rapid response and code teams when required during shifts.


• Float to various inpatient units as needed, excluding Maternity and NICU.


• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required.


• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.


• Possession of a valid driver’s license for verification of the 50-mile radius rule.


• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to interpret telemetry strips and monitor critically ill patients.


• Successful completion of unit-specific open book skills exams during orientation with a score of 90% or above.
