In this role, you’ll ensure policies, programs, and practices are executed accurately and efficiently while supporting employees, management, and customer needs.What You’ll DoSupervise staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, compensation recommendations, and performance managementOversee broad operational areas, including testing, scheduling, inventory management, services, communication, and overall coordination of lab, services, and field operationsProvide research, feedback, and decisions to address management and employee questions; assist in receiving customer feedback and coordinating responsesEnsure accuracy of testing, operational databases, reports, and documentation through audits, reviews, and operational queriesReview and process tests, documents, and dataProvide guidance on lab and operational policiesAnalyze trends and present insights and recommendations to managementParticipate in department and cross-functional initiatives, including budgets, timelines, staffing, materials, and project requirementsInterpret and apply department policies and procedures and assist with compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulationsContribute to department efficiency by offering recommendations and participating actively as a team leader and memberPromote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional, courteous, and cooperative interactions that foster a positive and effective workplaceWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a closely related fieldFive (5) years of laboratory, services, field, or testing experience, including work with complex programs or operationsTwo (2) years of team leadership experience is strongly preferredOr an equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceFind Your Place at Pace - We need you - your curiosity, your talents, and your drive - to help us advance this important work.BenefitsWhen you join Pace, you commit to work that makes a positive impact on our communities and our world.
