Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) – Full-Time/Permanent
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 per year (Based on experience) + Bonus/Incentives
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) to join a growing multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and specialists to deliver high-quality patient care.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced Nurse Practitioners and new graduates looking to build their careers in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Obtain and document complete medical, family, and social histories.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
- Prescribe medications and administer appropriate treatments.
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Refer patients to specialists when appropriate and coordinate ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) system.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while following clinical guidelines and best practices.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner).
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License .
- National Board Certification through AANP, ANCC, or ONCC .
- EMR/EHR experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- New Graduates are encouraged to apply.
