Practice Manager

Job Description Lead and manage a team of paralegals and technical specialists across multiple offices. Oversee associate and senior associate staffing, workflow allocation, and utilization. Analyze performance, utilization, and productivity data to deliver actionable insights. Partner with senior leadership and practice group leaders to optimize team effectiveness. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across offices, including West Coast counterparts. Prepare and present clear, strategic reporting (not just raw data) to senior stakeholders. Support operational and practice management initiatives across the IP function. The Successful Applicant A successful Practice Manager should have: Minimum 5 years of experience in legal or professional services environments At least 3 years of direct people management experience (required) Proven experience in staffing, work allocation, and resource management Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights Experience supporting IP, litigation, or comparable practice areas is preferred (but not essential) Confident working in a highly visible, senior-facing role within a complex organization Comfortable operating at Manager level long-term within a flat structure What's on Offer Base salary range of $153,000-$192,000. Lucrative discretionary bonus (typically 15-20%+). Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision) effective Day 1. Generous PTO (starting at 25 days, increasing with tenure). Competitive 401(k): 3% match (50% of 6%) after 1 year. 7.5% profit sharing after 2 years. Immediate vesting.
