Distribution Clerk

Job Posting

Job Duties:

• Must be able to lift 50–60-pound boxes which can be daily.

• Pick up and deliver boxes and files to a variety of locations to ensure efficient delivery and receipt of customer's requests.

• Maintain cleanliness of storage facilities and assist with building maintenance issues as needed.

• Assist in the delivery of special items for other city departments as needed.

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers.

• Operate and maintain assigned vehicle according to safety standards and preventive maintenance recommendations to reduce repairs and ensure maximum daily usage.

• Have forklift experience

• Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on the current workloads and department needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires high school or GED plus two (2) years' experience in fields utilizing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with such positions as distribution clerk, postal employee, or warehouse delivery clerk.

Must have or obtain a current and valid driver's license.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Pay: $16.03
