Atlantic Group is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant in Philadelphia, PA for our client, supporting direct patient care, clinical operations, and medical office functions within an outpatient healthcare setting. This role will assist providers with patient visits, clinical procedures, laboratory services, and administrative responsibilities while helping ensure efficient day-to-day practice operations. The ideal candidate will be a certified Medical Assistant with strong patient care skills, the ability to multitask, and experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.


Responsibilities as the Certified Medical Assistant:

• Patient Care Support: Prepare patients for visits, obtain vital signs, perform basic clinical screenings, and assist providers with patient care activities.
• Clinical Procedures: Support diagnostic testing, specimen collection, medication administration, therapeutic procedures, and other assigned clinical duties.
• Laboratory Services: Perform routine laboratory testing, prepare and process specimens, maintain documentation, and track test results as directed.
• Referral & Care Coordination: Assist with referrals, medication refill requests, appointment coordination, and communication between patients and care teams.
• Medical Records Management: Maintain accurate patient documentation, update electronic medical records, and ensure all required forms are completed.
• Practice Operations: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, support front-office functions, and assist with daily operational needs as required.

Qualifications for the Certified Medical Assistant:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required, and completion of a Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
• Certification: Active Medical Assistant certification and current CPR certification are required.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice, clinic, or outpatient healthcare setting is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting patient care, clinical procedures, laboratory services, and medical office workflows is required.
• Technical Skills: Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred, and familiarity with Epic or similar platforms is a plus.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, organization, multitasking, teamwork, and attention to detail skills with a patient-focused approach are required.
