We are expanding our team and creating a new Full Charge Bookkeeper role to help us scale. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys numbers—someone who can maintain financial accuracy.

Position Overview

The Full Charge Bookkeeper plays a key role in our financial operations, employee support, and organizational growth. This role handles day‑to‑day accounting functions, month‑end close, billing, and financial reporting. This is a hands‑on, detail‑oriented position that interacts with leadership, team members, clients, and vendors. Responsibilities include managing all data entry into our accounting system to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, and financial schedules.


• Maintain accurate general ledger coding across software, managed services, implementation work, support contracts, hardware, and grants.


• Prepare invoices for SaaS subscriptions, managed services, implementation projects, and support agreements.


• Track contract terms, renewals, add‑ons, and changes; ensure correct revenue recognition under ASC 606.


• Prepare financial dashboards and assist with budgeting/forecasting.


• Manage accounts payable, vendor setup, W-9s, and 1099 filing.


• Assist with audit preparation and financial compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of accounting experience (SaaS, technology, or professional services preferred).


• Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and revenue recognition.


• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Enterprise).


• Intermediate to advanced Excel/Sheets skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.


• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ASC 606 for software and service contracts.


• Exposure to HRIS and payroll systems.


• Ability to improve processes, create checklists, and build structure.


• Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, renewals).

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
