Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.Position SummaryAs a Cardiopulmonary Educator with CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to use your clinical skills to be an educator to your patients and their caregivers, helping them understand their complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies by providing infusion training and clinical support. This is a direct-hire, full-time position. In this role you will:Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations and the sales team to coordinate the patient's plan of care.Work within a highly specialized area of nursing and enjoy the autonomy that comes from working within a home care service.Assist patients who are initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH.Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting.Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key partnersParticipate in the on-call rotation for weekend coverage approximately once every 4-6 weeks.Travel:Travel will be via car and occasionally airplane to see patients, support our sales team, and for training as needed.One can expect to travel approximately 85% of the time. Approximately 60% of the time will be spent visiting patients in the Bronx, Westchester County and Upper Manhattan. Approximately 20% of the time will be spent visiting patients on Long Island and into CT. The remaining 20% of the time will be in Upstate NY and into other East Coast states.When not visiting patients, you will work from home and this will be approximately 10-15% of the time.Candidates must reside within one hour of a major airport.Overnight travel is a possibility, especially when on-call once every 4-6 weeks.You will have a uniquely rewarding setting to use their exceptional nursing skills. As a national leader in the home infusion field we seek those special RNs who not only possess strong clinical expertise with creative ideas but who also have the kind of deep compassion and sensitivity it takes to treat people in their homes.Required Qualifications:Must live within one hour of a major airport.Registered Nurse with a current unrestricted license in the state of NY with ability to obtain additional licensure for multi-state service areaTwo years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.Participate in the on call rotation as determined by staffing and business needsAbility to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require.Have and maintain current CPR certification.Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurancePreferred Qualifications:Experience in caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension – PAH is preferred, but not requiredHome healthcare and pediatric experience is preferred, but not requiredCRNI certification is preferred, but not requiredBilingual - Spanish is helpful, but not requiredEducation:RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursingAnticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$66,575.00 - $142,576.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
