Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Ohio

Start Date: September 25, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Shifts may vary based on operational needs. Contract duration of 13–18 weeks to provide winter coverage. Required to work at least every other holiday.

• Flexible contract length: 13 or 18 weeks available to accommodate scheduling preferences
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation with up to 2 attempts to achieve passing scores
• Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months with facility approval
• Pre-start modules required (average 6–15 hours); up to 4 hours are billable
• Exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements for nursing staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from an assignment within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Clear background check with no open cases; no license disciplinary actions
• Ability to complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
• Negative drug screen required within 12 months of start date
