Forensic Specialist

The Division of Criminal Investigation seeks a Forensic Specialist for the Toxicology Unit under the Wyoming Attorney General's Office. The position involves performing forensic examinations on evidence, preparing written reports of analysis, and testifying as an expert witness in legal proceedings. Work includes laboratory analysis, field crime scene investigation, and may involve 24/7 on‑call response. Key qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Science (preferably Chemistry, Toxicology, or physical sciences) 0-2 years of progressive forensic laboratory work experience or 3-5 years as alternative Knowledge of toxicology theory and forensic laboratory analysis techniques Skill in laboratory techniques and maintaining detailed records Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures including biohazard handling Valid driver's license (may be required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
